So Teapot is napping.
Most of the time, the priority is eat. Shove food in mouth, barely chew, swallow, repeat. I used to eat with vigor – just ask Teapot’s dad. Now I eat like an alligator, tearing off chunks of food and gulping them down. Sometimes Teapot’s dad’s family gives me looks. It’s okay. They don’t remember what it’s like to only. have. five. minutes. So what’s it’s gonna be? Eat or pee? Put up my feet because I’ve been bouncing Teapot for an hour straight trying to get her to sleep? There’s no use trying to actually nap… the grogginess I feel upon waking after only a few minutes is just not worth it.
At least she sleeps longer now. And without being held. Small miracles.
